I am a senior mechatronics and controls engineer focused on computer-controlled machines, robotics, industrial automation, and electromechanical product development. My work sits at the intersection of mechanical design, motion control, embedded and automation systems, instrumentation, testing, commissioning, and product delivery.
Across my career I have worked on robotics platforms, monorail switch systems, train propulsion and linear induction motor R&D, industrial process equipment, pressure systems, optical instrumentation, and water treatment products. I am especially interested in systems where mechanical design, controls, sensors, software, and field constraints all have to work together.
Recent work includes playing a leading role in Artimo, a commercial Ross Video robotic camera system, through multidisciplinary product-development work spanning mechatronics, motion systems, testing, and delivery. That mix of technical depth and practical execution is the thread that connects the rest of the work as well.
